Etihad Rail (Arabic: الاتحاد للقطارات) is the developer and operator of the United Arab Emirates's national railway network. It was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2 to manage the development, construction and operation of the United Arab Emirates' national freight and passenger railway network. [ 1 ]

In 2023, Etihad Rail inaugurated the network expansion, spanning around 900km linking all seven emirates, from Ghuweifat on the border with Saudi Arabia to Fujairah on the eastern cost of the UAE, and launched Freight Train operations across the UAE.

Etihad Rail was established under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. Built to the very highest international standards, Etihad Rail’s state-of-the-art network acts as a catalyst for economic growth and sustained social development.
