El Shards are the primary resource for Attributing Equipment. El Shard (Mystery) can be used to apply a random attribute to equipment at any Alchemist. They can be right-clicked to identify them into any of the 6 El Shard types at random, at the cost of 2,000 ED each.

Attributing is done by using El Shards, which come in seven types: Fire, Water, Nature, Wind, Light, Dark, and Mystery. In dungeons, certain enemies can also be enchanted with elemental attributes. Attributing weapons grants the ability to inflict Status Effects while attributing armor adds resistance to the element type.
