Apr 26, 2020 · I just went out and looked at my Sawstop on the ICS base. The PCS cabinet just sits in the ICS mobile base. It would be easy to make a torsion box that sits in the ICS mobile base and that cabinet sits on top of. On three sides, you could easily incorporate a lip or edge border that would stop the cabinet moving on the torsion box.

Oct 13, 2023 · Does the PCS sit loosely (by gravity) on the base, such that all one needs is a spacer. Or does the base attach with bolts or clips to the base? The pic below is my old Unisaw on a raised platform and built into my outfeed/assembly table. I'm 6-4" and have found 40" to be the best height for me.

Dec 12, 2020 · I have my PCS on the ICS base but I stuck a sheet of 3/4" oak plywood under the saw to be higher than my outfeed. The current height is 35-1/8". That would make the height without the plywood 35-3/8".

May 13, 2013 · There is a conversion kit required (P/N MB-IND-500) to adapt the ICS base for use with a PCS saw. This is due to the increased length/width of the ICS cabinet vs the PCS cabinet. This kit consists of 2 shorter linkage bars (in the second picture, it's the horizontal bar above the frame), 2 hold-down brackets and a hardware pack (screws, nuts, etc).

There was a recent thread which did a great job at discussing the options and I am leaning toward the Industrial Mobile Base. My problem is that I am on the tall side with a bad back so I would like to raise the saw up so that the table top is 40" high instead of the 34".
