The EM-2, also known as Rifle, No.9, Mk.1 or Janson rifle, was a British assault rifle. It was briefly adopted by British forces in 1951, but the decision was overturned very shortly thereafter by Winston Churchill 's incoming government in an effort to secure NATO standardisation of small arms and ammunition.

em2步枪 与EM2匹配的是新研制的.280弹，在测试中表现明明不错，但美国人总认为威力不够，就是觉得不行。 当时的北约内部美国说啥是啥，在EM2大量投产之前英国人最终向美国妥协了，放弃.280，采用7.62x51并且选用了L1A1作为制式步枪。

2021年10月18日 · I'm either going to pick a 4x fara with no visual and actual recoil where I can instantly beam someone off a heady, or I'm going to pick a MW 3.5x to 4x that's got better visual target acquisition. So if the argument is EM2 has too much recoil where AK doesn't, I'm only choosing to use it at distances before ~70-80m at the very most.
