November was a particularly bad month for my migraines, but I can't be sure that was the Emgality as there were other factors (overseas travel, jetlag, grief). I suspect the Emgality is actually not working for me, and this is what the migraines felt like before I got them better controlled with Aimovig and Botox.

Before Aimovig & Emgality, I had over 15 migraines a month. After Aimovig from February of last year, I had very few migraines except one really massive one in December. January and February came along and the migraines were coming back more and more frequent. So, good ole switcheroo to Emgality.

Mar 9, 2020 · Emgality nearly ruined my year—I took 3 injections and then the effects stayed with me for another 6 months. The worst of them were over after a couple months, though. The one that was the worst for me is that I had a total personality change—really irritable and irrationally angry, just lashing out at everyone I loved.
