With 1 hand, quickly twist the yellow cap off the Epinephrine Injection, 0.3 mg auto-injector or the green cap off the Epinephrine Injection, 0.15 mg auto-injector in the direction of the “twist arrow” to remove it.

1. Unsnap the yellow cap on the carrier tube and remove the EpiPen auto-injector. 2. Form a fist around the auto-injector with the orange tip down. 3. Pull the blue safety cap straight up with your other hand; do not twist or bend. 4. Place the orange tip against the middle of the outer thigh at a 90 degree angle (perpendicular to the leg). 5.
