When trying to setup my fax machine (Epson 610 all-in-one) in Windows 7 I'm given two options from which to choose: (1) internal modem or (2) network fax server. I want to use the fax modem that's in the Epson printer, but don't know how to direct Windows 7 to the printer.

The printer installation was seamless and all features (print USB, print network, & fax) work great. I have now installed the Epson Connect software but it does not detect the printer. The application is allowed in Windows Defender.

I use an Epson printer and I installed the full feature software from their support site and simply followed the setup prompts, no smpt settings required

Expand Print and Document Services. Check Windows Fax and Scan and click on OK. (If it is already checked, uncheck it restart the computer and check it back.)

2019年3月13日 · This is why you need to install the full software for this Epson. 4 In my case, the Epson was doing scans out of Adobe Acrobat DC. A windows scan could be different. 5 On your list of printers you should be seeing the Epson printer more than once. You should be seeing Fax, a regular printer and most likely a printer for scans.
