Erica Durance (/ dəˈræns /; born June 21, 1978 [2]) is a Canadian actress known for her roles as Lois Lane in the superhero television series Smallville (2004–2011) and as Dr. Alex Reid in the medical drama series Saving Hope (2012–2017).
