ERF was requested to build 400 trucks each year during Word War Two and CI4 and CI5 trucks served with the military. ER Foden died in 1950, but Dennis and ERF carried on. Post-War ERFs were more streamlined models – notably the 1956 ‘Kleer Vue’ (KV) cab with distinctive wrap-around, curved windscreens.

2008年1月24日 · The MV and MW arrived in 1972 followed by the B-Series in 1974, the M-Series in 1978, the C-Series and the CF in 1981 and E-Series in 1986. Next up to bat was the EC, which made major inroads into the UK market. In 1996 Canadian truck builder Western Star took over ERF, moving it from Sandbach to Middlewich, also in Cheshire.

The Motor Panels cabbed ERF MW Series was quite a rare vehicle and very few found their way onto the fairground circuit. One that did was this April 1974 model, ROW 624M, fitted with a Gardner 240 diesel.

Formed in 1988, REVS is a unique society dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the legacy of Edwin Richard Foden and the products that we all know as ERF.
