Using traditional grips on these bikes can cause a kink in the wrist which leads to discomfort in the hands and wrists - causing numbness.

2020年11月24日 · The Ergon didn't work for me at all, same as various WTB saddles. I'm fairly comfortable on a Brooks B17 but I've just put a Selle SMP TRK Gel L on my fat bike and it is the most comfortable saddle I've ever sat on.

2008年6月19日 · We build Ergon products to very exacting standards. Unfortunately, not all manufacturers working with carbon fiber subscribe to these same levels of quality. Unless your carbon handlebar manufacturer lists specifically that their product will accept bar-ends, we do not recommend using Ergon bar ends on carbon handle bars.

2019年10月4日 · I've run Ergon grips and they are really good. About the only drawback I've found are fragile endcaps. The GE1 Factory grips are my favorite for all types of trail riding. AM to XC. For different hand positions, and climbing grip they are great. The pattern feels great even on bare hands, even when a bit damp.

2021年2月2日 · I think I've narrowed my initial search down to the following saddles: Deity Speedtrap, Ergon SM Enduro/Comp Enduro, Ergon SM models and Ergon SMC models. The Deity is more just because it looks awesome and allows a great opportunity to customize your bike based on other colors. And I have read it's actually a pretty comfortable saddle.

2009年7月19日 · I've tried those (and every other shape that Ergon offers). Nice grips, but I keep coming back to the small (aka, "women's") GP1s. I really, really wish Ergon would sell their gloves in the US. I have a pair, and they're really good. Unfortunately, they're showing their age, so finding replacements is practically impossible.

This is the only place I've seen this mentioned. Would this mean the GC1 isn't recommended for my Carnegie's (25-degree sweep)? Is this legit? Maybe Ergon/Jeff K can …

Did anyone ride both and can weigh in how soft or hard they are? another wrinkle is there is no place to try, or to buy with ability to return.
