2021年4月24日 · The limping mode is not too bad though. On my bike (CX perfomance line bought back in may) it restricts the maximum rotation speed of the chainring, so that on your longest gear it assists you until 27-28 km/h (yes, a bit faster than the bike without the 504), and progressively slower on shorter gears.

2020年11月3日 · It's unacceptable that they don't get on the top of this. We went on a week bike trip (2 hours domestic flight) and one Rail 7 threw a 504 with 3 days left of the trip.

2023年12月25日 · 504 is probably a general code for when the system detects an anomoly...certainly that could be caused by a deresriction device but equally it could be caused by an incorrect speed sensor reading.....and that could either be due to some damage on the speed sensor cable or some restriction on the actual magnet/sensor.

2020年9月25日 · I'm really tired of this BS from Bosch, their random 504 errors, totally closed system, and crappy software :-( It's a shame since the motor itself is great, but this kind of a stupidities totally mess up the customer experience over all, IMO.

2024年2月23日 · Paulquattro, they can see from the data downloaded that a 504 code was deleted (or at least they can see something was deleted) and I had no reason to lie so I told them it’s was a 504 error, when it happened and who corrected it, this is why they believe it’s been tampered with. Am I willing to scrap the bike in exchange for my principles?

2019年9月20日 · 180Km so far (more than what was done with the badass before I got the 504 error), and so far so good. It's not a deal breaker to me, as it's only for the first few rounds of pedaling. As long as you're on a good gear, it's not a problem.

2020年11月3日 · I just had my ride interrupted by the second 504 code in the last couple of months. I've made no motor modifications. The 1st 504 code was aftrr the 85nm software upgrade. The LBS cleaeed the code and installed a newer software version that had already been released after the 85nm upgrade. I figured this was a patch for the original software ...
