The ES23B info is on page 10. To summarize, the diagram of the locomotive appears similar to the old B32-8, but shows the new I-6 GEVO inside. It also mentions that this locomotive could be built new or as part of a "modernization" (rebuild) kit.

2025年3月18日 · Basically trying to figure out if the inline-6 GEVO has any chance of being a serious competitor in the re-engine market. One would assume that it's pretty close to the same length as the GEVO-12, which isn't exactly a small engine, and probably longer than the FDL-12. Plus it would need bigger and more sophisticated cooling systems.

BNSF Railway purchased 25 ES44AC locomotives in 2023, and they are all classified as ES44ACH. They were built between August and September of 2023 and were built concurrently with the ET44ACH. The numbers were 3282-3306, which officially ended the production of the ES44C4 in 2020. These units are Tier 4 credit units.

No RR orders so far although wasn’t there an article recently about GE getting a contact to repower switchers at the Port of Houston?
