2004年10月28日 · To be more specific, if you have a field Estop push button, pushing that will deenergize a contactor, and disconnect the output from the drive to the motor. The motor also have brakes that works off the drive running contact output and hitting the estop will de-energize the brake relay as well.

2003年8月27日 · The Estops must be wired into a safety relay, such as Pilz, STI or Schliecher safety relays, which are designed to never fail to the on position. If you wire Estops into a regular MCR relay, that relay could fail to the closed position, in which case pressing estop would not stop the machine and would cause injury.

Basically this was a customer request to have the estop sw oper backwards. supposedly they are afraid of someone accidentally bumping into it and shutting the machine down even though there is a collar to prevent it. As far as the restart, yes there is a separate start button to run the machine.

2007年8月16日 · What is being assumed above is that you were running your e-stop string in to the plc, and in that scenariio yes it would require safety PLC. But my understanding is you have a hard wired e-stop string and the e-stops have aux contacts on them to be used as inputs to a plc to identify which estop is tripped. No safety PLC needed in that scenario.

2002年12月2日 · If you use binary resistor values, say 1K 2K 3.9K 8.1K, etc, you can then have a resistor ladder with a 1K resistor in series with your estop chain (with a resistor across each estop switch), and then use a DAC to measure the voltage, and a comparator to directly feed the e-stop state to your system.
