2020年1月1日 · Etnedal er ein kommune i Innlandet fylke, rundt 25 kilometer søraust for Fagernes, omkring elva Etna sitt øvre løp. Kommunen blir rekna tradisjonelt til Valdres, sjølv om topografien snarare bind kommunen saman med Land. Kommunen vart oppretta i 1894 ved utskiljing av Bruflat sokn frå Sør-Aurdal og Nord-Etnedal sokn frå Nord-Aurdal.

Etnedal, which is located in the east of Valdres, offers its visitors unspoiled and varied nature, cultural history and excellent river paddling possibilities. The municipality centre Bruflat is located south in the valley, however, it is the mountain areas of Langsua National Park and Synnfjell that attract most visitors to Etnedal.
