EuroVelo 8 (EV8), named the Mediterranean Route, is a 7,560 km (4,700 mi) long EuroVelo long-distance cycling route running from Cadiz, Spain to Athens, Greece, and then continuing to İzmir, Turkey and to the island of Cyprus.

2021年8月10日 · The Eurovelo 8 Mediterranean route runs from Cadiz in southern Spain to Cyprus, with a total distance of almost 7,500km, travelling through 10 different countries. This route will take you through many popular tourist destinations, with the additional benefit of introducing you to even more undiscovered cycling gems.

This first section of the EuroVelo 8 is 53 kilometers long, starting in the Plaza de Sevilla, in the city of Cadiz, and ending in Conil de la Frontera. The route crosses a protected natural area, the Natural Park of the Bay of Cadiz, with marshland ecosystems, which currently supports traditional activities such as salt pans and fish farms.
