The other main characters were Arthur the caterpillar, as a gruff cockney; Mavis Cruet, a plump, clumsy fairy with an erratic magic wand; and the principal antagonist, Evil Edna, a witch in the form of a walking, talking television set, who could zap people with her aerials.

A series of 5 minute cartoons about a group of inhabitants of a forest. Willo the Wisp is a sprite formed from gas who narrates each story. Other characters included Evil Edna (a witch shaped like a TV), Mavis (a rather overweight fairy), The Moog, The Argonauts (strange alien things that flew around in a mushroom), etc.

Evil Edna asks a gnome who is passing through Doyley Woods to pose for her with a fishing rod. The gnome obliges and Edna turns him into a garden ornament.

The series' primary antagonist is a wicked witch named Evil Edna. Evil Edna takes the form of a television set with a "rabbit ears" antenna. Her antenna crackles when she casts a spell. She often threatens to turn the other characters into frogs and sometimes makes good on her threats. All characters were voiced by Kenneth Williams.

Ah yes, Edna. Obviously everybody’s favourite character (although they were at the same time slightly terrified of her) was Evil Edna, the television set witch with narrowing orange eyes and a bad attitude.
