Column B contains formulas, so I want to avoid counting blanks cells that have a formula in them. I'm comfortable using countifs, but basically I can't find the syntax to say Many thanks for any help

2021年10月27日 · Column Y is the result of a formula based on column X that is calculated in VBA ie =IF(X2<>"","GOOD",""). The values in column Y are then over-written/special pasted in the same column using VALUES so that the formula is not visible. If I use COUNTIF(Y1:Y100,"="), the resultant value is 0, but if I use COUNTIF(Y1:Y100,""), I get the true value.

2018年1月26日 · Hi All, I've found lots of examples of formulas that countif the adjacent cell is blank but not for instances where two columns share non blank cells in the same row. To be more specific, one column can contain a date and is formatted as a date and the other is formatted as general and will have a string of letters and numbers when populated.
