AFAF Poster Download the AFAF 2025 Poster The Air Force Assistance Fund is an annual effort to raise funds for the charities that provide support to our Air Force family in need (active duty, retirees, reservists, guard and our dependents, including surviving spouses).

For over eight decades, the Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) has taken care of our own. As an official charity of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force, AFAS provides a support community where those who are called to serve can achieve and sustain financial stabil-ity.

2021年3月5日 · The AFAF supports Airmen and Guardians serving on active-duty, as well as eligible Air National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, spouses, immediate family members and surviving family members of deceased retirees.

Each year, funding from AFAF provides substantial assistance to Air Force Aid Society’s programs for Airmen, Guardians, and their families. AFAF allows active and retired members of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force to donate through payroll deduction and support Airmen and Guardians served by Air Force Aid Society and other charities.

2020年3月6日 · Anyone can make an online contribution at www.afassistancefund.org or by texting “AFAF” to 50155. Active-duty and eligible guardsmen and reservists can make a 3-12 month payroll deduction; retirees can make a 12-month retired-pay deduction. Specific AFAF campaign dates for each installation may vary.

For 50 years, the Air Force Assistance Fund charities: Air Force Aid Society, Air Force Enlisted Village, Blue Skies of Texas, and the LeMay Foundation have provided critical support to Airmen, Guardians, and their families – active duty and retired, officers and enlisted through the annual AFAF campaign.

CFC policy makers objected to including the AFAF charities that discriminated by providing service only to Air Force Members–they felt it violated the core reason for the CFC which was to open federal / military doors to the outside charities.
