Feb 17, 2009 · The FJ in FJ Cruiser doesn't really mean much other than being symbolic of the original FJ series. It doesn't have an inline F engine and it is not a Land Cruiser. Toyota Cruiser designation is usually listed by: Engine:body type:series For instance, the FJ40 F - for the 1F, or 2F series engines J - body type, Land Cruiser 40 - 40 series models

Somebody told me that FJ stands for Foreign Jeep; In the years after World War II, as Japan's heavy industries were looking for products to build and sell overseas, one company got an idea from the funny little convertibles in which the foreign occupiers would scoot from constutional convention to barroom and back again -- the Jeep.

Aug 12, 2024 · He owns Fuller Moto in Atlanta. Being an FJ Cruiser owner himself, he was all in. I shipped my FJ from Austin to Atlanta in June 2024. Fuller Moto has been busy with engineering the frame and fitment so far. I wanted to share pictures of the build as it progresses for the die-hard FJ Cruiser fans.

Feb 26, 2025 · It'd need an FJ grille and I'd opt for different headlights, but auto or manual transmission, and $25k for the 2.0 137hp gas or $36k for the 148hp diesel - that sounds more FJ than the "baby" Land Cruiser. Apr 7, 2022 · The list of vehicles I have owned include an FJ40, a 4Runner, and an FJ cruiser among Subarus, Fords, GMC, Honda, and other Toyota models, in the same geographic location. The 4runner and the FJ have had the worst rust issues of them all, despite attention and care. Aside from the snarky comments and doubts here, I agree there is something to this.

Feb 21, 2025 · Rolled ours, too. Another FJ life that ended too soon, but sacrificed itself to save our lives. My son and I walked away with racing hearts and shortness of breath... not a scratch on either of us. Thank goodness!! We are now on the hunt for the next FJ to join our family.
