F-80战斗机（英文：F-80 Shooting Star [6] ，译文：F-80“流星”，原本军用编号为P-80），是美国第一种大量生产与服役的喷气式战斗机。 F-80战斗机由美国洛克希德公司（Lockheed）研制，是美国第一架水平飞行速度超过800公里/时（500英里/时）的量产飞机。

The P-80C began production in 1948; on 11 June the newly formed United States Air Force redesignated the type as F-80C. The USAF Strategic Air Command had F-80 Shooting Stars in service from 1946 through 1948 with the 1st and 56th Fighter Groups.

On Nov. 8, 1950, an F-80C flown by 1st Lt. Russell J. Brown shot down a Russian-built MiG-15 in the world's first all-jet fighter air battle. The F-80C on display is one of the few remaining Shooting Stars that flew combat missions during the Korean War.

2024年5月8日 · The P-80C became the ultimate Shooting Star fighter model with production encompassing 162 1-LO, 75 5-LO and 561 10-LO production blocks. Like those before her, the C-model followed suit and was redesignated as the F-80C while 128 original A-models were brought up to the F-80C-11-LO standard.

On 8 November 1950, an F-80C flown by Lt. Russell J. Brown, flying with the 16th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron shot down a Russian-built MiG-15 in the world’s first all-jet fighter air battle. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) performed depot maintenance on the F-80 late in the 1940s and during the Korean Conflict.
