F20 does have a higher redline If you go F20 - make sure you get a 5 speed engine as automatics have different cams. H22 has more support overall.. both can put out roughly the same amount of peak HP.. The h22 is probably better for a DD

2020年3月8日 · Ouch, that's ugly. Mahle has oversize pistons that are compatible with the FRM at an oversize bore, but only slightly oversize (.25mm / .010" being the last step) and I doubt a .010" hone would clean that up. If you're anywhere near Chicago, I think we've got an F20 block that's been sitting abandoned at our shop for a few years.

2022年2月22日 · They werent in nearly as many cars as B series/D series. H series wasnt in a lot of cars, either, but they had the highest displacement before k24s came out. It’s not a bad engine in itself, it’s just that the aftermarket never really picked up for them be cause d series was pretty similar, but in way more vehicles.

2019年2月28日 · I put a K24 crank into my F20 block w JDM Prelude-S pistons and rods with stock head, cams and intake manifold. It's referred to as the F24 build. It's been running pretty strong for 130k miles over 11 years. I run a Hondata KPro so it sounds and starts like a Honda.
