The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II [N 1] is an American tandem two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, long-range supersonic jet interceptor and fighter-bomber that was developed by McDonnell Aircraft for the United States Navy. [4]

The F-42 Spacefighter was a fictional high performance jet fighter which featured in the derivative work Operatie Spacefighter, a comic strip published by the Antwerp based Studio Vandersteen in the Dutch language in 1967. The aircraft, as drawn, closely resembled the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter and even the name bore a family resemblance.

Unique in that it was used by US Air Force, US Navy and US Marine. British version used Rolls Royce Spey engines (F-4K, F-4N). With parachutes at AG1, this plane is suited to land on any aircraft carrier. Though capable of supercruise, this vulture has powerful afterburners capable of going Mach 2 (AG2) and the afterburning nozzles can use thrust vectoring to increase air superiority and make bombing runs fast and more frequent (a bomber version will come out soon.)
