The FT-5 is the Chinese-built two seater version of the J-5/F-5, itself a copy of the Soviet MiG-17. Sri Lanka received two of these aircraft, both survive and have been put on display. One is at Vavuniya air base and this SFT-1302 (ex CTF-702) in the excellent Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) museum in Ratmalana.

2021年11月1日 · The F-5 sounds like a nice plane to have, seeing as it’s the mig-17 that was used during the Vietnam war, it has an afterburner, and can carry missiles. But 9.3 is a hellish br to play at. I’ve got 850+ games with mig17as and I’ve never played the shenyang before. But I’d buy the mig17 again if I had too.

2021年4月16日 · I've sold the F4F-E in this past event, and am eyeing the Shenyang F-5 for my next purchase. Most the questions on the F-5 I've seen were answered about a year ago, and much has changed in the meta since that time, with the introduction of the AV8-A and Yak-38 among other premiums.

2022年11月3日 · I’m thinking of buying the shenyang F5 to help me grind the chinese tech tree. The reason i’m grinding the chinese aviation tree is since i’ve already started grinding chinese ground. Currently at 6.0. And I was wondering, is the shenyang F5 worth it? Is it still good? And if not, what other things should I do.
