2010年7月4日 · In 2008, BMW introduced the F800GS and an all new F650GS. Unlike the previous single-cylinder bikes, both motorcycles use 798cc parallel-twin engines. These new bikes have little in common with the "old" F650GS. In late 2008, BMW brought back the "old" 650cc single-cylinder bike and renamed it G650GS just to confuse everyone.

2025年3月7日 · The second is a 2010 F650GS twin (I don't believe it has ABS) with approximately 30K miles. Owner states it's been meticulously maintained and cared for and the condition looks like that's true. Cold start is also solid. Has a ton of aftermarket accessories...like the whole enchilada of add-ons. I believe I could pick this one up for about $4K.

2008年10月11日 · The F650GS has the same or better power up to approx. 5500 rpm (I rarely ride above 5500 rpm), a smaller front wheel and is a few pounds lighter. To me this makes the F650GS a better street bike and much better suited to my riding. Oh and I believe that the F650 gets approx 15% better MPG than the F800 which means better range.

2004年4月4日 · I experienced the same issue with my 2011 F650GS Twin. 6 time stalling when coming to a stop or at slow speed. it occurred with the clutch engaged (i.e clutch lever out/released) or disengaged (lever pulled in). Some time it start up after I switch the key off n on. The idiling keep surging up & down the 1000rpm till it stall in neutral.

2013年4月1日 · I apologize if i am needlessly starting a new thread, but my new-to-me 2010 F650GS (800 Twin) died today, and I am seeking answers. Re-direct me if appropriate. I have ridden the bike on and off road for 1k miles since I bought it a month ago.

You know what really gets me though, is when you read the magazine reviews and they say that te F650GS is a beginners bike. I read an article from Motorcycle USA (which I usually like) saying that the Ducati Monster 696 is a beginners bike.

2006年11月26日 · For my F650GS, I'll use 10-40 dino mc oil-- per BMW and wet clutch issues. Still new enough not to think about syn-- most likely will stay with dino. For my R1150RS, I use castrol 20-50 mc synth-- as engine is oil cooled-- keep it full. About 18K and just getting broken in. I change filter and oil at 3000 or sooner.

2019年7月20日 · The F650 is very sensitive to battery voltage. A weak battery or loose terminal will create all types of starting and running issues.

Has anyone added some power to your F650GS? I was thinking maybe change the sprocket for some low end power (and to pop the wheel hehe) But being an 800, surely a performance chip or something can ...
