2011年2月19日 · Has anyone built any of the early Belgian BGS FAL kits that APEX had? I got a kit and it turned out to be a Type B kit with a Type A stock and a wood carry handle. Also got a very nice BGS wood grip from someone on FAL Files for free (great guys over there!)

2025年1月26日 · When I took the clamshell apart, there was already one installed, so I've got one for my second BGS kit (which also lacks the other bi-pod parts). I think the front sight is correct. It is marked with a "3" and includes what Mark at ARS shows as an "early" front sight spring.

2014年3月25日 · The BGS is a 4 digit early with wood butt and pistol grip. The G1 has the plastic grip and wood butt. As soon as I can I will post some pictures. The BGS is matching serial number on lower, carrier and bolt. The G1 is a mismatched set but nice with a great barrel. Since the BGS had no barrel with it I have been barrel shopping.

You'll find Enterprise Arms info stamp on the bottom rear edge of the upper receiver. You can confirm it's a BGS by that relief cut at the rear of the receiver, the "ears" on the front of the original BGS stock would fit in there. And as someone said it has the correct sights and the muzzle device and barrel configuration also.

2023年3月18日 · BGS is an early variant of the fal for the German border guard. It was originally hot blued thus you'd want a receiver that closely matches the original metallurgy.
