As the oldest baccalaureate degree nursing program in the State of Florida and one of the first graduate programs at FAMU to offer a master's degree in nursing online, we have a proud tradition of excellence and innovation in nursing education.

The program provides the foundation of a liberal arts education as well as the nursing theory and science necessary for the full scope of professional nursing responsibilities and the knowledge base necessary for advanced education in specialized clinical practice.

The four-year BSN program begins with pre-professional classes in the liberal arts, which you can take at another institution. Then you will begin to take classes in nursing at FAMU and gain clinical experience in hospitals and clinics.

The Fast Track RN-BSN Program is offered to registered nurses, with a current Nursing License, who are graduates of accredited associate degree or diploma programs in nursing and leads to the Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
