Follicular dendritic cells - Wikipedia
Follicular dendritic cells (FDC) are cells of the immune system found in primary and secondary lymph follicles (lymph nodes) of the B cell areas of the lymphoid tissue. [1][2][3] Unlike dendritic cells (DC), FDCs are not derived from the bone-marrow hematopoietic stem cell, but are of mesenchymal origin. [4] .

2014年6月20日 · Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) are a unique population of cells that is essential for efficient germinal centre (GC) formation and for the production of...
Follicular dendritic cells: origin, phenotype, and function in health ...
2014年3月1日 · Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) were originally identified by their specific morphology and by their ability to trap immune-complexed antigen in B cell follicles. By virtue of the latter as well as the provision of chemokines, adhesion molecules, and trophic factors, FDCs participate in the shaping of B cell responses.

2024年3月26日 · In recent years, it has become increasingly clear that GC reactions are in large part orchestrated by follicular dendritic cells (FDCs), which present antigen, deliver stimulatory cytokines to B cells, and provide structural support. 10,11 FDCs have the unique ability to retain and present complement opsonized immune complexes (ICs) for extended...
Follicular dendritic cells in health and disease - PMC
Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) are unique immune cells that contribute to the regulation of humoral immune responses.
Follicular dendritic cells: origin, function, and different disease ...
Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) are a specialized type of antigen-presenting dendritic cells that are largely restricted to lymphoid follicles. They form dense three-dimensional meshwork patterns within benign follicles, which maintain the follicular architecture. The FDC function is to bind and r …
Follicular Dendritic Cells Emerge from Ubiquitous Perivascular ...
2012年7月6日 · The differentiation of follicular dendritic cells (FDC) is essential to the remarkable microanatomic plasticity of lymphoid follicles. Here we show that FDC arise from ubiquitous perivascular precursors (preFDC) expressing platelet-derived growth factor receptor β (PDGFRβ).
Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) were originally identified by their specific morphology and by their ability to trap immune-complexed antigen in B cell follicles. By virtue of the latter as well as the provision of chemokines, adhe-sion molecules, and trophic factors, FDCs participate in the shaping of B cell responses.
Follicular dendritic cell networks of primary follicles and germinal ...
Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) were identified decades ago by their ability to retain immune complexes and more recent findings indicate that they are a source of B cell attractants and trophic factors. New imaging studies have shown that B cells closely associate with their dendritic processes during migration.

2012年3月1日 · Follicular dendritic cells (FDC) are specialized antigen-presenting cells to cognate B cells in the follicle of the lymphoid tissues. FDC also support survival and proliferation of the B cells, leading to the germinal center formation. FDC therefore play a central role in humoral immune responses.
