2005年2月7日 · There would be one FDC located at the pump room. The FDC would charge the entire site fire line, thereby charging all of the hydrants and risers/systems. The 3-way suction line hydrant is located adjacent to the FDC and upstream of the pump. This allows the FD to connect to a pumper connection on the hydrant and then go to the pump on the truck.

2009年4月4日 · My understanding is that you are not allowed to put a shut off valve in the FDC piping (see NFPA 13 2007 section 8.16.1.1.1.3). The logic being that the FDC is going to be used in an emergancy situation and in that case they don't want to take a chance that a valve would prevent water getting into the distribution system.
