Ex-PRR/MBTA 5794/CR 4254 now lives on as FEC 1594 at Gold Coast Railroad Museum, passing the remnants of WWII airship base "Richmond", on which Gold Coast has operated since 1957. It retains is gloss as it is kept indoors most of the time, but for their "Experience The E-Units" event, it ran trains!

2015年4月17日 · After we acquired it in December 2002 and repainted it in FEC colors, we renumbered it 1594, which would be the next FEC road number for a locomotive of this class. All the FEC's diesel-electric motive power and "name" train passenger coaches were painted in this distinctive red and yellow with silver trim from 1939 to 1962."

This E8 A unit was originally PRR #5794, but it has been repainted as FEC #1594. Built in 1952, it was one of forty-six E8 A units delivered to the Pennsy that year, bringing the PRR's final roster to seventy-four of these passenger units bought between 1950 and 1952.

2006年8月4日 · The two ex-PRR E8's (5809A, 5711A) that operated the Conrail Executive train are alive and well on Bennett Levin's Juniata Terminal Railroad in Philadelphia and have been beautifully restored to full PRR livery, right down their trainphone antennae.
