The FEG AP9 is a semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured by the FÉG company of Hungary. Originally called the Model 48, FEG designed this handgun, based on the German Walther PP /PPK pistol series, just like many of the other post-World War II Hungarian pistols. The pistols were produced primarily for the civilian market, and export.

The Model AP9 is the 9mm (.380acp) commercial version of the FÉG PA-63 offered for export sale 1967-2003. It has an Aluminum-Titanium alloy frame and a steel slide. It was manufactured for export after 1998, for example: The FÉG SAPS South African Contract. This pistol is equipped with a weight latch system.

2016年2月25日 · I recently picked up a like new FEG AP9S pistol with SAPS marking and logo. The pistol looks to be well made but a little rough on the inside. It's about the size of a Walther PPK pistol and is heavy due to steel frame and slide. I had couple of feed failures in the first 20 rounds or so but has been totally reliable since.
