Having two characters that can cast healing and support spells makes things a lot easier and sage has access to everything including the evoker version of the summons. Sage is good if you use them as a black mage/magus with a few choice white magics (revive especially ) thrown in.

With mages who focus on one type of magic, this isn’t a really big problem. But with this kind of versatility you need to make sure you tailor your Sage’s spell set to each battle! I suggest if you use a Sage, to use it to complement a pre-existing Magus, Devout, or Summoner, instead of as a standalone replacement.

2023年6月7日 · While the Sage is limited in ability to equip spells, it more than makes up for in versatility. Versatility that can not be as easily performed by job changing, due to debuff for several fights. This team may not be the absolute best, but the ability to perform the abilities of several classes in one is certainly viable.
