Ghido, also known as Gill, [1] is a character from Final Fantasy V. He is an ancient sentient turtle who lives in a cave on Galuf's world, and is a sage known for his wisdom. Ghido offers his wisdom to the Light Warriors in their quest against Exdeath, but mocks those who are slow to catch on. Despite his age, Ghido is a capable fighter.

Ghido's cave is a location in Final Fantasy V in both Galuf's world and the merged world. It is home to Ghido the sage. Exdeath sinking the island. As Ghido has lived for over 700 years prior to the events of Final Fantasy V, [1] it can be presumed that his cave is also centuries old.

When you reach Guido, Butz will think he is an ordinary turtle and smack him around. After Guido tells him to stop, he does and Guido doesn't hold it against him. He tells you the story of how Exdeath was born, and that he is going to the Forest of Mua.

Right as soon as you walk up to Guido's Cave, the whole island drops into the sea! Your party hops on the Hiryuu just in time to keep from drowning. You then cut to Exdeath, who laughs at Sage Guido.
