2025年2月27日 · I'm a new 2013 FJ owner and have been loving it so far, however I'm facing a few issues with my stock stereo/audio system so I'm hoping someone could offer some assistance. First of all, when I'm listening to music, YouTube, or anything else, the lower frequencies sound awful and blown out, and just generally really low quality.

2025年1月5日 · Son took the FJ to Home Depot that night and heat quit. Sunday morning, we started blowing out the heater core (garden hose), backward then forward. Did the cycle 2 to 3 times. Lot more stuff in the first pass. Took the FJ for a run and heat worked again (very slight improvement on passenger side).

2023年7月14日 · That will reset the ECU. I don't think you damaged the transmission since the torque converter would have absorbed the direction change in the gears, with a lot of gear noise. Some newer cars have an electronic lockout or will kill the engine if you mis-shift like that. I don't think the FJ has that though. FJtest here can definitely answer that.

2025年2月4日 · What I'd do is add about 2 quarts and perform the level check procedure. If you don't have an OBD II reader that can display the trans pan temp., or don't want to go through the jumper/shifting technique to show the A/T temp light on the dash, I'd purchase a handheld infrared thermometer and measure the pan surface temp that way.

2020年12月3日 · Now, fast forward to post-fix of the radiator. I come to pick up the car, and it doesn't start. I leave it there overnight, and come again in the morning, doesn't start then either. They take a look at it with me, say they will check it out.

2011年6月12日 · The last few weeks have been epic - too much work and travel. So on Sat we head out to do some rock climbing (with ropes and carabiners not with the FJ). At the end of the day we spent some time checking out some old trails. Nothing extreme but i did put the Fj in LL for a stretch. Evereything seemed fine, we got out and started driving home.
