FLCL's English dub is best known for how it localized the original script to make sense to western audiences. For example changing Cheerio to Crystal Pepsi. For the most part, this is looked at as a strong point of the FLCL English dub. However, recent localizations by Funimation have been met with vitriol by the viewers.

2016年7月13日 · Is FLCL dubbed worth watching? Except for a few exceptions like Full Metal Alchemist I find the voice acting of a lot of dubbed anime to be bad or sometimes downright cringy. I want to start FLCL but can only find it dubbed and not subbed. Is it worth watching it dubbed? Thanks in advance.
