2021年7月26日 · If you are a gear geek I would get the 30 but is just wanting to upgrade get the 28. You can adjust the gain on the 28 to give you wider or narrow cone angle on the 28. 30 has it more refined where you can do cone angles.

The FLX-30 uses a special broad band transducer that ofers a wide spectrum of cone angles that vary with each frequency. The multi-frequency system has diferent characteristics than the single-frequency transducer described here.

I have the 93sv and flx 28, wish I would have bought the 30. I’d rather fish with the vex over the garmin. Garmin is used for gps. That said the lithium flx 28 package has been great. I’ll probably sell it for the 30

I like to stay on top of the electronics innovations and I probably don’t need it however went to Cabela’s yesterday to check one out and possibly buy one using the large amount of points I’ve amassed. They had plenty of Vexilar’s there, from the FL8 to the FLX 30.
