Options is a menu screen with settings that players can change to modify the gameplay experience of Friday Night Funkin'. It was officially added in the Week 7 update, but a prototype build of the Week 6 update had an early version of it that was non-functional.

In the menu, players can change the opponent and/or player characters, see the keys they are going to have to hit in each section and change the song. Custom note charting can be done by left clicking on a space in the 8x16 grid which places a note down. The player and AI sides are noted by the icons on top of the grid.

Naughtyness is a special setting in the options menu for Friday Night Funkin' that was first added in the Week 7 update. Disabling Naughtyness tones down or outright removes some more of the adult content in the game, such as extreme violence, profanity, nudity, etc..
