FOB is like when they act as if they're still back where they came from. i hear it a lot around my asian friends' parents, as they're mostly immigrants. sometimes it's derogatory, sometimes it isn't. i wouldn't use it personally

Growing up on the brisbane Southside, fob was the term the south pacific islander kids used to describe themselves and it was used colloquially that way by us kids. It was not an “offensive” term, simply a descriptive one “oi mate, the fobs by the oval told me to give you this.”
