The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ enables you to connect M.2 peripherals such as NVMe drives and AI accelerators to Raspberry Pi 5’s PCIe 2.0 interface, supporting fast (up to 500 MB/s) data transfer to and from NVMe drives and other PCIe accessories.

The Raspberry Pi’s GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) allows it to talk to ‘real world things’ – other hardware and electronics – by using code to tell these things what to do and when. You can connect dupont wires to create a circuit yourself, or attach an add-on board or HAT designed for a specific purpose.

2014年7月31日 · A HAT is an add-on board for B+ that conforms to a specific set of rules that will make life easier for users. A significant feature of HATs is the inclusion of a system that allows the B+ to identify a connected HAT and automatically configure the GPIOs and drivers for the board, making life for the end user much easier!

This document is an update to the original HAT specification for add-on boards that sit on top of the Raspberry Pi and connect to the 40-pin connector to provide extra peripheral features. The original HAT specification and associated files can be found at github.com/raspberrypi/hats.

The Raspberry Pi boards with 40W GPIO headers (Model B+ and onwards) and have been designed specifically with add-on boards in mind. These boards support 'HATs' (Hardware Attached on Top). A HAT is an add-on board that conforms to the HAT specifications. HATs are not backward compatible with original Raspberry Pi 1 models A and B.

Here, we present simulations of the fixed point burst trigger system for the FPI. A variety of data sets based on previous mission data as well as analytical formulations are tested. Comparisons of floating point calculations versus the fixed point hardware simulation are shown.
