The Federal Signal 3T22 and 2T22 are dual-tone, mechanical outdoor warning sirens made by Federal Signal Corporation (formerly Federal Sign and Signal Corporation) from 1952 through the early 1990s. Both have a very recognizable design, with a ten-port rotor (chopper) on the bottom with ten cones (horns) and a 12-port one on top with twelve cones.

Federal 3T22 The Federal 2T22 siren is a dual tone siren, which is essentially one siren on top of another siren with the siren motor in the middle. Federal added air valves to each air intake of the top and bottom parts of the 2T22 siren to make it possible to alternately (or simultaneously) shut off the air to each air intake of the siren.

The 3T22 was an Omnidirectional Warning Siren by Federal Signal made around the 1960s that contains two Rows of Horns and is the Solenoid Version of the 2T22 and is Able to HI-LO... The 3T22A and 3T22B versions also exist.

2020年2月4日 · I don't own any sirens myself, but I'd say the 3T22 is one of the cooler sirens out there, being one of the few with coding dampers and capable of hi-lo signals. The 10/12 port ratio also sounds really nice. They're quite large assembled, but with the horns removed they're a lot more manageable, if tall.
