2007年2月20日 · No DirecTV can be converted for FTA since they are not DVB receivers. Even Dish receivers (which are DVB) cannot be used for FTA since they are hardcoded only for certain TPs/SRs used by Dish. Unfortunate, since so many go to the dump, and they would make reasonable secondary receivers if it were possible to convert them

2022年1月31日 · You need a 10ft C-band dish if you want the best FTA channels. However, there's plenty on KU, which is mostly good for feeds from time to time.

2005年7月4日 · I have purchased a Cool Sat Pro 4000 for viewing Korean FTA TV. According to Lyngsat channels on AMC 4 TP8 have 3 Channels that are unencrypted(SBS,Tan TV1-2). However when I try to get those channels my reciever says they are encrypted. I'm thinking the Lyngsat site is probably out of date and they are encrypted.

2022年8月5日 · Look at the most recent FTA channels for the satellite you want to aim at on TVRO. On the right side of the the list on the satellite transponder and channel listing look for one with as high a percentage as you can find.

2020年7月15日 · Makes sense as Orby TV is on 117W and Dish Network has a torch at 119W. When I was setting up my 76CM FTA dish for Orby TV I was a bit surprised that I was able to lock onto 117W. It has been working great but I did spend time getting every last bit of margin I could with little skew and focal adjustments.
