2020年2月15日 · There's a trend of the ratio of MTF to FTM decreasing pretty much worldwide, but I'm still seeing higher numbers of MTF like 5 times out of 6. (Of course not all trans people are taking HRT or have a gender dysphoria diagnosis, but that eliminates more selection bias than, say, an Internet poll.)

At first i only identified as gender queer with severe dysphoria but she pretty much liberated and helped me. FTM - Female transforming to a Man. TGTF - In-between male and female, but not exclusively one or the other gender (Used for things such as Futa TF's). Furry (MTF/FTM/TGTF) - Same as the previous gender TF related flairs, but a furry in some manner is involved.

For shortness, I hate the abbreviations TF and TM (trans female and trans male); I personally find those much more invalidating than MTF and FTM. MTF and FTM can indicate direction without indicating a specific identity, which can be useful. The terminology treadmill is one of my least favourite things in the trans community.

2015年8月8日 · I agree, I think it's mostly "yellow car syndrome". I can't think of another public MtF-FtM couple in my city. But it's no surprise why two would date. Mutual understanding, helping each other with gender norms and intricacies, plus all the benefits of being a straight couple.

2023年8月1日 · Reddit is overwhelmingly male-dominated (somewhere around 75% men) and has a perceived higher number of MtF trans people, whereas somewhere like tumblr is more evenly split, and pinterest and twitter have (well, had in the case of that last one) more female users and are perceived to have a higher FtM ratio.

2013年11月18日 · The reason for this, as told by the guy who ran my group is that ftm's have a much higher turnover rate within the community as they are generally able top pass and blend into society as normal males significantly more quickly than their mtf counter parts.

Used to love J. Cole. Was a fan of him for years. Unfortunately, he recently dropped a new album and the song Pi features some fuckin abhorrently transphobic lyrics (aimed at ftm folks). I used to think of this guy as pretty progressive and culturally conscious. I am insanely disappointed by this and I doubt I'm the only one.

2020年7月4日 · Some Advice for a FTM and MTF Couple (I'd like to say in advance I am sorry for the length, I struggle with communication sometimes) So I myself came out as FTM in late January early February last year and have been social transitioning pretty successfully since then.
