2009年3月2日 · The frame is different. FXR is lighter, stronger, and has somewhat different geometry. Everything else is pretty much the same as the Dyna. The FXR2, FXR3, and FXR4 were the first of the CVO Harleys which later were called the Screamin' Eagle bikes. Stock innards and limited production.

The frame was designed to be welded with automation, and to accept the powertrain as an assembled unit using jigs and lifts that did the hard work. The FXR frame required hand welding, and the power train was built in the frame. The engine was humped into place with bruit force and lumber.

2017年8月29日 · Oh yes, thats right. I heard from my true FXR expert friend that pipes from DYNA will very likely fit FXR with forward controls. Then i found from swap V&H (not my favourite brand) longshots from TC Dyna (pipes1). Pipes fit perfectly (pipes2), no need to relocate oil filter. Those floorboards i got for free from the same seller.

2009年5月30日 · The underside rear of the tanks are completely different and the Dyna tank will not fit on the FXR frame. You have to cut the bottom of the FXR and Dyna tanks off and weld the FXR one to the Dyna tank. Then custom fit it. It will be a good project.

2013年11月8日 · I'm thinking (not sure) that the Dyna Thunderheader is the same pipe as the FXR Thunderheader but with a different mounting bracket. I Googled and found a few FXR Thunderheader mounts sold from various suppliers. I would give T-header a call. (NOT an e-mail!)
