How much science packs/s should I aim for? : r/factorio - Reddit
The ones that make 2 science packs per cycle I have an equal number to the time. 10 for military, 14 for production, 14 for high tech. That keeps everything at the same rate which is great since all vanilla game science is now equal packs for a given research. If I need more science then I scale up in those aforementioned chunks.

How do you decide how many science labs do you need? : …
That becomes a question of logistics -- how much -stuff- can I convert into Science Packs and shove into my research park within any given timeframe. At 1KSPM, that works out to be "1,000 of each science pack (usually excepting military science), per minute". Consuming that many science packs with a single lab, would be an unreasonable ask.

Multiple labs pull from the train car.
Missing Science packs : r/factorio - Reddit
2020年8月16日 · Science packs can be partly used up, and two mostly expended packs stack to create a single pack. (e.g. a 1 pack at 33% + 1 at 40% = 1 pack at 73%). This is something likely to happen with daisy-chained labs, which I see you're using extensively. So my guess is that when packs are "lost" in this way, it isn't properly counted.
Easiest lab layout for all 7 science packs : r/factorio - Reddit
2017年5月17日 · Because the moment you automate science, you will have a steady stream of packs going to your labs. You do hand craft in the beginning, but at that point you don't do sushi belts anyway. You never hand craft 1k high tier science packs, which is the kind of scenario I was referring to. The speed of research is limited by bottlenecks somewhere.
Compact science blueprints for all science packs. : r/factorio - Reddit
2017年6月15日 · You could do this, but you would also need to add a second assembler for the miners. In the original build, there were 12 assemblers for blue science but they weren't adequately fed by the single miner assembler. I don't have the design skills or patience to modify the layout to add another one so I just removed 6 blue science assemblers.
