2020年7月24日 · Faded M81 is also just multicam with half the colors lol. I get it for nostalgia or tacticool instagram points but you aren’t hiding from anyone. Probably mostly due to not having the technology to stop camo from fading. It makes more sense to have a pattern, that is a bit too dark when it‘s new, so it will longer work relatively well.

2024年9月19日 · Grew up wearing M81 in the upper Midwest. It's better than nothing, especially when faded, but it's not ideal. Multicam Tropic, DPM, and Rhodesian Brushstroke are way better.

2020年4月1日 · In every single test (conducted over four seasons in 32 locations across about 100 miles of area) M81 woodland was INFINITELY more effective. In fact, I found plain solid coyote brown to work as well (and better in some cases) than MARPAT Woodland.

2023年3月10日 · They're salty enough that I'd be happy to sleep in them, but colors still haven't faded much. Great part of M81 is that it's old enough to be considered fashionable, can't do that with UCP or Multicam ;)

These helmet covers are in very good, but used condition. We also offer them as scrap to be cut into scrim (pack of 5). These are faded, ripped, torn, etc. Bad shape, but perfect to be cut or ripped into scrim for a helmet or rucksack.
