Fafnir (ファフニール Fafunīru), or Takeshi Ooyama (大山 猛 Ōyama Takeshi), is a supporting character in the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid series and the main protagonist of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Fafnir the Recluse. He is an old friend of Tohru and the roommate/friend of Makoto Takiya. Fafnir's full appearance in the anime.

Fafnir is a major character of the manga/anime series Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. He is a curse, reclusive dragon once known to the Norse, aligned with the Chaos faction, who is currently living with Takiya. Has a very dark and moody demeanor, but hides a softer spot for his fellow dragons and new human friends.

2025年3月2日 · He allows Takaya, who is becoming his roommate and partner, to call him by the unique nickname "Faf-kun," despite the risk of forming a strong master-servant relationship. He is also relatively comfortable with Kobayashi, who is adored by the dragons, and she sometimes jokingly calls him "Faf-san."

Takiya compliments Fafnir and accidentally calls him "Faf-kun", leaving Fafnir confused as to what a nickname is. After dinner, the two play a video game to determine who washes the dishes, with Fafnir losing and being forced to do the chores.

Over time, they become comfortable enough around each other that Fafnir allows Takiya to call him Faf-kun, a nickname of sorts. Kobayashi As a maid otaku herself, they get along well in and outside of work.

Fafnir has the ability to create very potent curses. The incantations for the curses he writes are so powerful that even a human without magic can curse someone with it. Like all dragons, Fafnir's physical strength far exceeds that of a normal human.
