Faldorn is a true neutral human druid and a potential companion. Faldorn may be considered a sort of anti-hero, for she's one of the Shadow Druids, a druid faction that takes extreme, often violent measures for the sake of protecting nature and preserving the balance. Faldorn is available from Chapter Four.

Faldorn can reach lvl 5 spells, being a pure druid, so you can wreak havoc with Insect Plague or enjoy some protection with Ironskins. If you have no xp cap and Faldorn can reach lvl 6 spells, her Fire Elementals will demolish every opponent easily in BG1. (save Greater werewolves and Sarevok, maybe)

Generally, I've never made much use of Faldorn, who I've always considered THE weakest NPC in BG. However, as I prepare for BG:EE in my mind, I've been mulling over the possibility of giving Faldorn an earnest try. From an RP perspective, I've always liked the fact that she shares a common goal with your party (investigating the Iron Throne).

Faldorn is a bit of a black sheep of the Druids, considering she’s a Shadow Druid. As a true neutral human, she’s one of the most powerful Druids in the game as she’s one of the only ones who can master Level 5 spells.

2020年9月6日 · Faldorn is nice if you want a druid character that gets access to the higher level priest spells as a pure class (Unlike Jahiera, who also requires that you have Khalid). Her summon Dread Wolf is also pretty handy since she kinda has a nerfed Totemic Druid ability. Xzar and Montaron are underrated imo. Xzar can dual to cleric and be quite handy.

2022年1月19日 · Faldorn comes off as far nastier than, say Kagain. I am delighted she isn't as fully voiced as other NPCs in the BG1 Project. All she talks about is protecting nature.

2022年4月25日 · Help me finish this BG1 party. Here’s what I got so far, I need a mage, another front line character, and then a fifth character to fill out the party. My options are Ajantis, Minsc, Dynaheir, Xan, Imoen (dualed to mage), Kivan, Khalid, and Jaheira. Please don’t break up any pairs. These are the only characters I’m considering for the party.

And unlike Clerics, Druids get L5 spells (Cure Critical Wounds), which is why Faldorn got the Wis tomes. Decked in leftovers from the other companions, and Fal got Kaz claw and the Dex gaunts...
