Since 1986, Family Kitchen has been providing meals to our neighbors in Central Oregon. Today, we provide over 20,000 meals per month and rely on the help of over 450 volunteers to make it happen. We're proud to be a part of this wonderful community.

Today, Family Kitchen serves three dinners and five lunches each week in Bend and one dinner weekly in Sisters. In January 2024 we began providing meals six days a week in Redmond through partner agencies.

Family Kitchen offers a wide variety of days, times, locations, and ways to volunteer. We pride ourselves on flexible options to accommodate a range of ages, abilities, and group sizes. Most shifts include prep, cooking, making meals (both to go and dine-in), serving, and cleaning up.

Family Kitchen has been serving the commnity nutritious meals for the past 30 years, and are continuing to do so at a growing rate. We now serve in Bend, Redmond, and Sisters. Volunteer opportunities include cooking, serving, dishwashing, delivery driving, donation pick …

For 38 years, Family Kitchen has provided hope and nourishment for Central Oregonians facing food insecurity. Through our Community Meal Program, we provide free, nutritious meals to anyone in need in a safe and caring environment.

In 2021, we began meal service in Sisters once weekly – a dinner on Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00p. Our fresh to-go meals are also delivered to: - Bend Shelter – 3 meals a day - Sisters Cold Weather Shelter 1x/week - Stepping Stone Shelter Daily - COVO Camp Check-ins 3x/week - Redmond Collective’s Aid Event 1x/week - Peace Kitchen Outreach 1x/week

2021年11月2日 · Every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Family Kitchen will be hosting a free hot meal to-go (until it’s COVID-safe to eat together again) at Sisters Community Church. No paperwork or requirements apply — participants are invited to just show up and give their order.
