2015年8月6日 · The speed of the CPU fan is controlled not by Windows but by the controller on the motherboard and is based on the temperature of the CPU. So it would be obvious to this old tech, that your Windows 10 is running the CPU more than your previous OS.

The problem with Windows 10 as many of you know is that Windows Update downloads and installs the most appropriate drivers for your system but in reality as is often the case these drivers are NOT always appropriate.

2015年8月17日 · I'm running an Asus P6TD motherboard and in Win 7 used to use the Asus AI Suite to create a custom profile for the CPU fan speed which meant the fan was less noisy. AI Suite won't run on Win 10 - or at least the version I can download now AIsuite 2 or 3 won't.

It works well enough under manual control, but I really would prefer to use software control to manage this device - but I don't have any idea how to do this, and the NA-FC1 manual doesn't discuss software at all...

2019年11月11日 · Speedfan is a pretty good utility but does not work with all fan sensors. I agree with ignatzatsonic. Try a different system/fan monitor and see if that works for you. One thing to consider is that a laptop fan may not always spin until the CPU/GPU load gets heavy. I have an Acer laptop with a fan that does exactly this.

2015年11月12日 · After several days of research I found a little bug with Windows 10.. For my system (and I recommend everyone check theirs), Windows 10 installed 2 graphic card drivers. I disabled one of the graphic cards (obviously the one that was non-existent in my system) and voila the fan stopped spinning.

2018年1月13日 · I did a clean install of windows 10 about 2 months ago. Everything was fine till all of a sudden I came home one day and found my GPUs fan at full blast making some real good noise. Turned off the computer, checked the card, cleaned it (pressurized air) and put it back in and same problem persists.
