2006年2月15日 · Implementation of a Tape mode is done by the machine builder, not Fanuc. On older machines/controls this was commonly one of the selection on a mode select rotary switch. On the 16/18 series controls it was often not implemented on the mode select switch, but made a softkey or keeprelay.

Also noticed it has the card slot and also a USB port, wondering if possible to dripfeed from a flash memory stick?

2007年12月10日 · Back in the day when I was still running machines on a daily basis, FANUC told me our 0-MA controls could not drip feed (DNC). Fortunately for me I ran in to Craig DeGarmo from Multi-DNC (now Spectrum). FANUC had told me they could fix me up with a mag tape system for 60 to 70k per machine. Wasn't going to happen.

2017年4月21日 · Notwithstanding that your machine has a Tape Mode, and this is normally sufficient with a Fanuc Control to be able to DNC (Drip Feed), this is NOT the case with the Series 6. You will require a BTR for DNC applications.

2008年12月18日 · i am trying to drip feed from a pc to a fanuc om... i actually have a post from before but it was never fixed. think my best approach is to start over fresh. that said i have bought an in line tester so i can tell if the pc and controller are communicating. i am getting an 087 alarm.
