2017年3月29日 · I have a Farmall 460 that just loves giving me problems. So right now when I need power (I believe it is when the governor opens up) the tractor starts to pop and purer with some after fire. Could the higher needle be clogged. Thanks.

2016年4月22日 · I have my papas old Farmall 460. It was running for a total of 10 hours over 2 months. Then when I turned it off to load another hay wagon it would not restart. I've found that it is in the distributed. I got power from the coil to distributer. Both primary and secondary. The rotor is fine but there is no power to the metal on the rotor.

2017年10月15日 · I recently bought a 1962 IH 460 tractor. The power steering does not work. I have read many post on this issue. Mine seems a little different. I have good power steering pump pressure. 1700# static and 1100# with good volume. Half a five gallon pail in about a minute. The problem I think is it is also pumping about as much air as fluid.

2021年8月18日 · Well, I'm back for yet another problem with my old 460. I was clearing out some tree stumps and it just died. No warning. It would barely turn over, so I grabbed the truck and jump-started it. I did bleed the injectors, just to make sure, and there didn't appear to be air in the lines. It ran fine for about 10 minutes and died again.
